About this Doctor

Dr. Liao is an active member of the Dallas County Medical Society and Texas Medical Association. He has been named in D Magazine’s Best Doctors in Dallas for the past several years and named a Texas Super Doctor by Texas Monthly Magazine. Dr. Liao is board-certified in general and interventional cardiology. Dr. Liao received his undergraduate education from Texas A&M University. He subsequently attended The University of Texas Southwestern Medical School, graduating first in his class. He completed his internal medicine training at The University of California in San Francisco.  His training in general and interventional cardiology was completed at The University of Colorado Health Sciences Center at Denver.

After completing his training, he joined Dr. Boehrer in private practice in 2003.

Dr. Liao is board-certified in general and interventional cardiology.

He is married to Dr. Valerie Liao, who also practices at Medical City in Infectious Diseases. They have 3 disobedient children. He is an avid runner. He loves racing marathons and drinking protein shakes.
